Our Crafty Journey

We are Sharon Ling & Rachel Hansen, friends and colleagues who have been keen crafters for many years.  We became ‘hooked’ on glass fusing after attending night classes and have been fusing for about 3 years we love developing our skills by trying different techniques. We are always inspired by the colours and effects of the glass we work with and we are constantly challenged by the chemistry and reactions in the kiln we are ‘geeks at heart!’ Having started off with a microwave kiln we learnt lots of lessons which provided us with the basic knowledge on how glass behaves at different temperatures on a small scale. Since those early days we have invested in 2 larger kilns and can now create and experiment on larger decorative pieces.   
We started to run workshops in November 2021 and really enjoy sharing our love of fused glass and seeing the creative side of our attendees come out the sessions are for all, we are happy to have examples for inspiration or let you come with an idea that we can help you create.
